I’ve lived here for a little over a year and let me start off by saying management is absolutely wonderful! They are sweet, kind and have a very positive outlook. They genuinely care about the people who live here. If you have a maintenance request they are quick to fix the problem. The two bedrooms are very spacious I have myself, boyfriend, 2 large dogs and a newborn and we have plenty of room. I don’t typically use the laundry room but the few times I’ve gone in there it’s very clean and well maintained. For the amount of college kids who live here it is very quite. Somerset goes above and beyond for the residents. Highly recommend living here!!

If you could give less that one star I would!! Worst management I’ve ever experienced. The apartments are not well maintained for what you pay for rent. They lied to us about air conditioning, which meant it became extremely hot. Homeless people sleeping from the stairs so I could not leave for work. No peep hole or chain lock even after requested!

UNSAFE. HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. POOR CONDITIONS. I lived here for one year and was utterly miserable the whole time. Air conditioning does not work. Multiple times it would get to 89 degrees in our house and my roommate and I would have to leave our apartment to be able sleep. Locks do not work on any of the doors and the management would not provide my roommate and I with a working lock. Several times we had another resident knock on our door in the middle of the night waking us up when they should not have access to our apartment in the first place. Management will not take care of concerns or help in any way. Cameras do not work either. Car was keyed and I spoke to management three times over the period of a week before I even got a response only to say the cameras don’t work. Dryers do not properly dry clothes and multiple times I would have to dry even small loads three times. Take pictures of everything the second you move in because they will find reasons not to give you your deposit money At the beginning of our lease they tried to charge us upwards of 600 in late fees because they misplaced our check which was sent in on time. Two separate times there were homeless people sitting in front of my door because locks don’t work. Apartments are unsafe and the owners tried to move someone into my apartment while I was still under terms of my lease. I had to threaten legal action to get response or a refund of any of my money. Read the lease very thoroughly as it states that management is not responsible for following up or helping with any concerns. Showroom apartment does not look like actual apartments. Upon move in to our apartment, there were holes in the walls (some of which did not ever get fixed). Blinds were torn (which they charged us for), closet doors were broken, missing a shower head, broken oven. We were not given a smoke detector until the last month of our lease. This place will pressure you into signing a corrupt lease for unsafe living conditions and management that does not care about any solving any problems tenants might have. My recommendation is to spend more money and live somewhere safer with people who care about tenants and are not only trying to take advantage of college students.

I've been here a year and half. I was told I was getting new flooring by management, I've had 3 owners in my time here. The new owners said my flooring isn't bad enough to replace. I guess having tears in my carpet and kitchen flooring on top of the cigarette burns in the kitchen is standard and not concerning here. I don't recommend moving in here unless you're ok with poor living conditions and being lied to.

Lived here 3 years and I've seen this place go downhill over my time living there. Apartments are in bad shape and maintenance takes forever to fix things. Property managers have changed several times and the owner is never there. TLDR-This place sucks. Don't bother :/

Seem to be clean well kept complex. My friend had a cute place. Seemed to be very quiet for as many students that could be there
